- This is gonna sound crazy, but the next time you go thru that
- proceedure, do not do a full format, do a "dos quick" instead. I went
- around that apple tree 6 times before I thought to myself, "this
- things been formatted enough", and used the quick option. The drive
- has been there on every powerup since.
